An empath is someone who 'absorbs and feels other people's emotions and/or physical symptoms due to their high sensitivities'. Consequently, this enables them to be excellent caregivers, friends and spouses. Moreover, their extraordinary ability to emphasize with all kinds of situations provides them with real superpowers.

The trademark of an empath, is they filter the world through their intuition & have a difficult time with their own feelings. When overwhelmed with the impact of stressful emotions, empaths may experience panic attacks, depression, chronic fatigue, food, sex, and drug binges, or exhibit many other physical symptoms that defy traditional diagnosis.
